catalytic converter marking event

Alert message sent 04/04/2012 21:36:00
Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police
Good evening this is a Lincs Alert message from PCSO Harrington of The Sutton's Neighbourhood Policing Team. Over recent months there has been an increase in catalytic converter thefts, therefore the local Neighbourhood Policing Teams have teamed up with a local garage in Holbeach to offer people the chance to protect themselves from theft for free.  The idea is to engrave the number plate of the vehicle onto the catalytic converter and this will only take a few minutes.

People who have been victims of this crime before will be given priority, along with those drivers who have 4x4s or vehicles that sit high off the ground.

The local Neighbourhood Policing Team will be at the following venue.

Grays of Holbeach Limited 25 Fen Road Holbeach PE12 8QA between 09:00 and 17:00 on 11th May 2012.

If you wish to visit the above location please bring with you a form of identification ie a driving licence and the V5c vehicle document.  Please do not contact the garage themselves.

We hope to see you there.
