Alert message sent 16/04/2018 10:08:00

Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

As the evenings are now drawing out and the nights are getting warmer the Police would please remind everybody to remain vigilant as we are still suffering burglaries around a three mile area either side of the A16 corridor from Louth to Boston.

Items taken in separate incidents over recent days include, 2 angle grinders, test equipment for a steam engine, old ride on Honda lawnmower, red diesel, electric hedge trimmer, screw driver set, drill, welding leads and hand tools. Also along the A16 corridor unknown persons have removed a cap from fuel oil tank and siphoned approximately 300 litres of heating oil from a tank.

If you see any suspicious persons or vehicles around, if possible with descriptions and number plate, please call Lincolnshire Police on 101.
