Alert message sent 01/11/2018 09:51:00

Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

Good Morning, this is a message from PCSO Gordon on Thursday 01 Nov 2018.

There have been incidents reported in the area of scam phone calls being made to residents.  The phone calls are from people stating they are from BT and that residents are having problems with their routers.  The calls are then asking residents for their bank or card details.
If anyone receives any call similar to this please contact BT or your relevant provider before completing anything on a laptop or a computer to make sure that it is a genuine call.
If anyone would like any further information on the above or would like further crime prevention advice please do not hesitate to contact ourselves on the 101 number and we will assist where possible.

Thank You.
