Alert message sent 04/01/2019 09:25:00

Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

We have received reports that vulnerable people have been receiving phone calls from people stating they are Police officers and that there has been unauthorised transactions on their bank accounts, as a result they are then asked to withdraw large amounts of cash from their bank.
Police will never ask you for personal details over the phone and will NEVER ask you to withdraw money from your accounts. If you or anybody you know has been subjected to this type of scam please log a record with Action Fraud at www.actionfraud.police.uk or call 03001232040 and visit the lincs.police website for information on scams and fraud.
