Alford graffiti

Alert message sent 06/01/2019 11:10:00

Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

Good Morning All,

As most of you will have seen or heard by now.
Yesterday morning (5th Jan 2019) we woke up to find the town had been covered in a number of graffiti tags using the word "CHINK". After a prompt investigation by the team we established this was in no way racists but was in fact the person responsible nickname. The person has been identified as a adult male who at approx 4pm yesterday afternoon was arrested on suspicion of the damage that has been caused.
He has now been charged and will appear at court.

Thank you to everyone help and support both to the Police and to the people effected where many of you went out to help clean up the mess. #CommunityTogether
