Theft of Plant & Machinery from Farmyards

Please be aware about the theft of plant and machinery from farmyards - this is especially worrying when yards are in remote locations with little security or surveillance.   These types of thefts come with a huge cost both for the value of the equipment, insurance excesses and increased ongoing premiums and also the time spent unable to work and having to replace.  

We know that thefts of some plant such as telehandlers can be “to order” to commit further crime such as rip outs of ATM machines.  

Can we please ask for your assistance to ensure plant/machinery is secured; keys and expensive equipment removed and any suspicious activity reported to the Police.
