We have arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with two serious assaults in Saxilby.

We received a call at 1.39am today (31 December) reporting an assault at a property on Fallow Croft. Two people sustained serious injuries from stab wounds and have been taken to hospital.

The man remains in police custody and will be questioned in due course.
