What is spoofing and phishing?

Have you heard of spoofing and phishing? Spoofing is where criminals spoof phone numbers or email addresses to make them appear as though they are coming from a legitimate source. Phishing is the broader crime of trying to trick a victim into revealing sensitive information. 

Never assume someone is who they say they are and be suspicious if someone tries to draw your attention to the email address or number as a means of proving their identity. Be wary of any request to change your payment method.
