100m cordon at Pride Parkway, Sleaford

Please be aware that there is a 100m cordon from Pride Parkway in Sleaford and the road is closed in both directions after empty mortar shells were found at a recycling centre. 

The site as well as nearby businesses have been evacuated as a precaution, and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit are on their way to collect and dispose the shells properly. 

The cordon and road closures are expected to remain for a few hours.
