Our new PCSOs have now completed their classroom training and from this week they will be out in their communities. The new starters will shadow our existing staff for the next couple of months to work through the practical requirements of the role. At the end of the mentor period the PCSOs will become independent, which will help to increase the amount of time our teams spend out in our communities on patrol and dealing with ASB issues, as well as the number of community events that we can attend. We know the new PCSOs are looking forward to getting out and meeting you all.
