Incident at Swanholme Lakes, Lincoln

We were called to a concern for welfare at Swanholme Lakes, Doddington Road, Lincoln, this evening (Thursday 9 July) at 5.48pm.

Officers attended along with Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue and East Midlands Ambulance Service and have been dealing with a teenage boy who had got into difficulty in the water. The boy was taken to hospital following the incident and his family joined him there.

Enquiries into the exact circumstances involved are ongoing. We will provide a further update as soon as we are able.
