Correction to previous message: Four people arrested following a concern for safety in Boston

Please note a correction to our previous message.

Officers were called to a property at Revesby Avenue, Boston, at 9.17pm on Wednesday 29 July, following a concern for safety.

Two men, aged 40 and 59, and two women aged 33 and 37* have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, following reports that bloodstained clothing was found in the vicinity of the property.

There is an increased police presence in the area while officers carry out inquiries to establish the precise circumstances in which the clothing came to be found there.

We are at the very early stages of this investigation, and we ask members of the public to please avoid speculation on social media and to rely on verified updates.
