We have seen an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour in the vicinity of Flinders Park of Donington and surrounding areas over recent weeks.
Incidents reported to police have involved groups of young people causing damage within the park and nearby woodland, attempting to start fires, and gathering in a manner that has resulted in excessive noise and disruption late into the night. This behaviour is having a significant impact on local residents and the wider community.
South Holland Neighbourhood Policing Team Sergeant Marc Fowler said: "These actions can cause considerable distress to local residents, create unnecessary risks to public safety, damage valued community spaces and place additional demands on emergency services.
"If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child may be involved in anti-social behaviour, I would encourage you to contact us. Early intervention can help prevent behaviour from escalating and avoid potential criminal proceedings in the future.
"Our officers will continue to carry out patrols in the area, work closely with partner agencies and, where appropriate, take enforcement action against those responsible."
