I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Violent Crime, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. A man has been charged with manslaughter following an altercation in Skegness after which a 21-year woman died.
Rennforde Fletcher, 53, of St Ann’s Hill, Nottingham City, Nottingham appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday 20 August where he was released on bail with conditions pending a plea hearing on 9 September.
Minnie Jarrett was allegedly punched during an altercation outside of Buster’s Bar on Grand Parade in Skegness at around 1am on Sunday 9 August. The woman was taken to hospital but sadly died on 15 August. Our thoughts are with her family, who are being supported by specially trained officers.
