We are aware of a number of posts and comments circulating on social media reporting crimes, suspicious activity and incidents of anti-social behaviour across our communities.
While we welcome residents keeping each other informed, many of these incidents are not being reported directly to the police. This means we may not be aware of the issues, cannot accurately assess community concerns, and are unable to allocate resources effectively to areas where they are most needed.
If you witness a crime, experience anti-social behaviour, or have information about an incident, please report it to us. Reports help us build an accurate picture of what is happening in our communities, identify trends and hotspots, gather intelligence, and ensure the appropriate police response can be provided.
REPORTING CRIMEIs it an emergency?Does it feel like the situation could get heated or violent very soon? Is someone in immediate danger? Do you need support right away? If so, please call 999 now. If you have a hearing or speech impairment, use our textphone service 18000 or text Lincolnshire Police on 999 if you’ve pre-registered with the emergencySMS service.
