Serious assault – Coleridge Green, Lincoln

We are investigating a report that a man in his 20s has been assaulted at an address on Coleridge Green, Lincoln.

Emergency services were called shortly after 3.25am on Tuesday 6 October with reports that a man had been stabbed. When they arrived at the address they found the victim had been seriously injured; he had slash wounds to his head and arms.  He was taken to hospital for medical treatment.

As part of the investigation we are releasing CCTV footage which shows someone visiting two addresses on Robert Tressel Walk in Lincoln.  We believe this man may have information that will assist our inquiries. We appeal to anyone who can recognise the man or his voice to get in touch. 

We appreciate the footage is unclear.  This is a very serious offence and we will do all we can to identify further lines of inquiry and establish who is involved.

Anyone who has any information about the assault or the identity of the man in the video footage is asked to get in touch.
