A dispersal notice is in place for Holbeach |

Following reports of criminal and further anti-social behaviour in Holbeach this evening a dispersal notice has been authorised and will run from 7.25pm on Thursday 22 October until 7.25am on Friday 23 October. DISPERSAL NOTICE - Section 34 Authority to issue (s35) Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014. This notice is applicable for the area within the town of Holbeach, to include the town centre, housing estates parks and recreational areas. The dispersal order gives officers the power to require individuals to leave a specified area if they are contributing, or likely to contribute to harassment, alarm, distress or crime and disorder. Failure to comply with a direction to leave is an offence which carries a power of arrest. We currently have anti-social behaviour and disorder in the area of Boston Road, and the town centre including shops involving approximately 20 youths. In considering the wider community, there should be an expectation that members of the public visiting Holbeach and members of the wider community of Holbeach residents should be able to enjoy their property and community without fear of being involved in or witnessing such antisocial behaviour or disorder. Incident 389 of 22 October. | ||
