Bonfire night

Bonfire night

As we are approaching Guy Fawkes Night, we are aware that there will be a number of public and private fireworks displays being held. Fireworks used irresponsibly can cause damage to property and do significant harm to people and animals.  If you are holding your own display in a private garden then please remember:

Always keep fireworks in a closed box and take them out one at a time
Never put fireworks in your pocket
Be considerate. Let your neighbours know you will be having a display
Ensure your pets are safe
Follow the instruction on each firework
Never go back to a lit firework
Never throw a firework and do not throw used fireworks on the bonfire
Children and young people should be supervised and should watch from a safe distance
