Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

Good evening
This is PSCO Nigel Wass at Horncastle Neighbourhood Police.
We would like to make you aware of several recent burglaries in our neighbourhood policing area and ask for any information members of the public may have.
Incident Number 542 on 25th July took place at Hatton, near Market Rasen between the hours of 1700 and 2200 when the rear of a residential property was accessed by unknown means.  Diesel was stolen from a tank and the offender(s) attempted a break in to the property itself.
Incident No 393 on 27thrg July took place in the Spilsby Road area of Horncastle between the hours of 9.30 am and 6 pm from a residential property.  Entry was gained through a downstairs open window and a PlayStation was taken.  The offenders searched the property upstairs but nothing further was taken.
Incident Number 262 was also reported on the 27th July but it is believed that the crime occurred sometime within the previous two months. Silver was stolen from a safe in a church in Hagworthingham.  The silver will be distinctive as it is used for communion.
If  anyone has seen any suspicious behaviour that may relate to these crimes please contact PCSO 2188 Nigel Wass, Tel 101 Ext 4627, Mobile 07973 846956 or ring Crime Stoppers 0800 555 111.
Please remember during the recent hot weather, it is easy to leave windows and doors open, unattended, providing greater opportunities for sneak thieves so remember to check carefully before leaving your home unattended.
