Scrap Metal Suspicious Circumstances

Good afternoon.

Early this morning we had reports of a White Transit Panel van trying to collect scrap metal in the Tattershall area.

We have reports of people illegally collecting scrap metal and rubbish without a license, in and around our area.   Please be mindful if you engaging anyone to collect your items for disposal, that must hold the necessary paperwork to transport your rubbish, or scrap metal to the correct registered sites. 

If you see anything suspicious please contact 101 with as much information as possible and also pass the information onto East Lindsey District Council,   Caravan Site Licensing, Scrap Metal & Environmental Crime Enforcement Team.
