Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

Good afternoon
This is Police Support Volunteer Christina Ivett at Horncastle NPT.

There has been a spate of burglaries/attempted burglaries in outbuildings recently, as you may be aware from previous Lincs Alert messages.

During the last few days, there have been three further incidents . If you have any information relating to these incidents please ring the non emergency number 101, quoting the incident number and the date.

Incident Number 160 of the 19th February – a burglary took place from outbuildings, probably overnight of the 18th/19th February at Enderby, near Spilsby.  It is believed that the burglars were disturbed as chainsaws were taken, but other tools and equipment were collected and  left in a pile, ready to remove from the building. Entry was gained through a double glazed window and blood evidence has been retrieved from the crime scene.

Incident Number 238 of the 18th February – an attempted burglary of an outbuilding in Belchford took place.  The perpetrator tried to gain access by forcing shutters but was unsuccessful.

Incident Number 229 of the 18th February -  a break in from an unlocked shed took place in Baumber.  A strimmer, hedge cutter and leaf blower were stolen.

If think you can help, do please call us
