Alert message sent 08/03/2020 14:01:00

Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

This is PSV Chris Ivett at Horncastle NPT
There have been two instances of burglaries from outside residential properties in our area in the last week and we are asking for your help if you have any information.
The first theft occurred in Thimbleby.  Four statues and a cast iron chimney ayre were taken from a front garden overnight of the 3rd/4th March.  The statues were two women, each 3 foot high, one of Hercules and one of a boy on a ball which is distinctive as the toes are broken off the right foot.  (incident Number 234 of the 4th March)
The second theft was a chainsaw from a wooden stable and tack room in Stixwould when padlocks were cut through in order to gain entry to the building. This happened some time between Wednesday 26th February and 9 am Monday 4th March. (Incident Number 237 of the 3rd March)
Please ring 101, our non emergency number if you can help us, quoting the relevant incident number and the date.

We have had a few burglaries from outbuildings in recent weeks so we would urge you to check your security arrangements and regularly inspect your buildings for any signs of break in. Please also support suspicious activity.
Many thanks

Chris Ivett
