Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

Good morning

This is PSV Chris Ivett at Horncastle NPT

We have had some further incidents of wheelie bins set alight in Horncastle the last couple of days of which I would like to make you aware and ask for any information you may have relating to these incidents.

The first took place on the evening of 11 March at 11.30 pm when a fire alarm was set off at a residential property in Stanhope Road.  The recycling bin had been set alight next to the property’s entrance door and there was damage to both door and bin.  (incident Number 123 of 12 March)

There was a further wheelie bin fire on Stanhope road yesterday ( Incident number 316 of the 13 March).

Recycling bins have also been set alight outside the Playing fields Pavillion on Coronation Walk in Horncastle (incident number 82 of the 14 March.)

If anyone knows anything about any of these crimes, we appeal for you to come forward and telephone our non emergency number 101.

Thank you
Chris Ivett.
