Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

Good afternoon

This is Volunteer Chris Ivett at Horncastle NPT appealing for information relating to a vehicle offence which took place overnight of the 11th/12th March on Maltby Way.

An attempted theft of a moped took place and discovered by the owner at 7.05 am on the 12th March.  Unfortunately the disc lock had not been on the bike overnight and there was damage to the ignition lock and scratches to the bike.

If you know of suspicious behaviour in this area please call 101, our non emergency phone number quoting Incident Number 62 of the 12th March.  If you own a vehicle of any kind please ensure that you lock your vehicle when left to minimize the chances of it being stolen.

Thank you
Chris Ivett
